Carina Dunnahoo
Mar 21 2012 - Lonestar Staff
photo Carina Dunnahoo, former Lonestar 93G Red NTH, won the NJCAA DI National Championship in late November when her Tyler Junior College team completed a 24-0-0 season. Carina, from Belton, played as a left back, left midfielder and central midfielder for the 93G Red NTH last year on their way to the State Finals and excelled throughout. Carina initially committed to Sam Houston State to play DI before deciding to pursue Junior College for a year, though she didn’t anticipate that decision would bring her a National Championship! She was also closely watched by Tom Brown at SHS throughout 2011, and Carina will now evaluate her soccer and school options for 2012/13.

Carina played as the starting left defender for Tyler College en route to the National Title which culminated in a 1-0 win over Darton (GA) in the championship game in Melbourne (FL) on Nov 20th. Congratulations Carina!
