TOPSoccer Comes to Lonestar Soccer Club

 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

COME HELP SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN PLAY SOCCER!

Lonestars-Westlake now offers a TOPSoccer program to provide recreational soccer opportunities for school-aged children with special needs, and we need your help!

TOPSoccer is unique in that it allows special needs children to learn about sports alongside their elementary, middle and high-school peer Buddies.  Each player is assigned a Buddy, and the Buddies are their personal support system on the filed, giving the parents and loved ones the opportunity to cheer from the sidelines.  Buddies will work with their player under the guidance of team coaches.  Everyone involved will see and practice enthusiasm, determination, tolerance, joy, and unconditional encouragement on the field at every game.

We are in need of volunteers for the fall season, and volunteers will receive community service hours and Lonestar volunteer hours for their time spent with our program.  So if you need hours, please join our program!  

The fall season will run September 24-November 5, and all games will be played on Sundays at Cedar Creek Elementary in Eanes from 1:45 pm-3:00 pm.  

Registration for Buddies can be found under the TOPS link at Westlake Soccer or join us this Sunday, September 17 for an orientation at Cedar Creek Elementary at 5:00!

We are excited to be able to offer multiple recreational programs for ages U4-U18! The programs are LSC-CCU serving Cedar Park and North Austin, LSC-AUC serving South Austin and surround areas, and LSC-CBA now serving Central Austin, such as the Brentwood and Crestview areas.
