Skelton called in to U-16 National Team

An exciting invitation has been extended to our very own Lonestar Soccer Club forward Nora Skelton. Nora is one of only 26 players who have recently been invited to participate in the 2007 U.S. U16 National Team Camp being held Jan. 15-21 at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA.

Nora has just completed a phenomenal sophomore season with Lonestar, demonstrating her exceptional skill and incredible speed while competing with her 91 Red Westlake team (Coach Ben Crawley). Skelton is also a member of the 2006 Olympic Development Program (ODP) Region 3 Team and competed at the Annual (U.S. Youth Soccer ODP) Girls Thanksgiving Interregional back in November held in Coral Springs, FL for six days of training and competitions.

Lonestar is confident that Nora will really make an impact for the U16 National Team. We’re very proud of Nora and excited that she's earned this chance to play and train for the Red, White and Blue.

We are excited to be able to offer multiple recreational programs for ages U4-U18! The programs are LSC-CCU serving Cedar Park and North Austin, LSC-AUC serving South Austin and surround areas, and LSC-CBA now serving Central Austin, such as the Brentwood and Crestview areas.
