Julie Arnold & Brittany Little Named in ECNL All Team for Disney

 On January 8, 2010 the Elite Clubs National League announced the "All-Event Teams" from the games played in ECNL Divisions at Disney's Soccer Showcase in Orlando, FL last weekend.  Twenty-eight clubs each played 3 games over 3 days against opponents in their division.  An "All-Event Team" of 11 players has been selected at each age group based on nominations from ECNL coaches and scouting by the ECNL Player Identification Program.  

"We believe it is very important to recognize outstanding individual performers at ECNL events," said ECNL Vice-President Doug Bracken.  "These players stood out for the quality of their play while competing against the best clubs and players in the country and they deserve this honor.  Congratulations to all of them."

Lonestar SC Girls DoC commented, "the girls deserve this accolade, they were excellent throughout the event and have been at the top of their game for some time now, so it is good to see them get recognized by the league like this. Congratulations girls."

Congratulations to the 91G Red who won the National Championship and the 96B Red who brought home 3rd place in the National Championship! Both teams played extremely well putting forth an incredible effort, and worked very hard to earn the chance to compete at the national level. Lonestar Soccer Developmental Training is a 6 week program focusing on the baisc fundamentals of the game, offered one day per week, offered at multiple locations in North and South Austin. Registration is $25 per player.
