Bruce Talbot to Join Wake FC and Carolina RailHawks

 Lonestar SC would like to thank Bruce for his hard work, commitment and dedication to our club, our programs, our teams and our players over the last four years. We are thankful to Bruce for his work ethic on and off the field and for the positive impact he had on many young soccer players, especially those he helped develop for and place in college over the last four years. Bruce will be heading back to North Carolina towards the end of June, at the end of the USSFDA season, after the Lonestars 94B USSFDA and Lonestars 96B USSFDA conclude their 2011-2012 season. Bruce will remain a full time LSC staff member until that time and will continue to help facilitate the transition beyond June.

We wish Bruce the best of luck with this dual opportunity to remain involved in the youth game at Wake FC while working with professional level players at the Carolina RailHawks in the NASL. We wish Bruce and his family, though Lisa won’t be leaving Lonestar SC just yet, all the very best on this move back to their longtime adopted homeland of North Carolina.

Steve Allison and Vic Pace, two of the Lonestar SC Executive Leadership Team members, will take over the responsibility of heading up our Boys College Placement Program supported closely by Bobby Murphy and rest of the LSC Boys Coaching Staff. Both Steve and Vic have played and coached at the collegiate level and most importantly have a tremendous network of college coaches developed through their combined 45+ years of coaching youth and collegiate soccer.

Please join us in congratulating Bruce on this opportunity, thanking him for his work at LSC, and wishing him well for the future as you see him around the fields in the coming weeks.
