CENTRAL RECREATIONAL PROGRAM (LSC-CBA)

 

SPRING 2015 REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!

 

 

This program is designed to be a fun and enjoyable experience for all. Games are on Saturdays with the potential for Sunday matches.  We provide practice facilities at area schools and parks, game fields, referees, professional training assistance for volunteers and teams, and league administration.  All our recreational teams are coached by volunteer parents.

 

A total 7-9 games will be played for the U5-U12 age groups. Fall season will run mid-September to mid-November. Spring season will run end of February to end of April. U13-U19 age groups will play in the CAYSA league and play as many games as CAYSA schedules (LSC does not control the CAYSA schedules).

Overview

 

U4 Lil Lonestars

 

The U4 Lil Lonestars program practices once a week on Saturdays at Justin Lane for 5 weeks. Kids will enjoy the fun-filled soccer environment while learning basic skills and playing fun activities. The sessions are conducted by LSC training staff. 

 

This program is separate from a soccer league.  It is a five week training program only.  Each player will receive a t-shirt.

 

Fall Lil Lonestars will begin in October. Spring Lil Lonestars will begin in March.

U5 & U6 Recreational Soccer 
The U5 & U6 co-ed program focuses on skills development. Our KINS program encourages parent volunteers to focus on individual technique. Teams have the option to hold a practice session each week. Games are played on Saturday (potential for Sunday matches) using a 3v3 playing format. In the fall, the World Cup Event begins the season at Justin Lane. The World Cup Event is a series of mini-games.  Developmental training is optional and would cost an additional $35. As part of the registration fee, all participants can attend one developmental training session each week, in addition to their regular team training session.

 

U7 & U8 Recreational Soccer 
The U7 & U8 program is gender specific and focuses on skills development. Our KINS program encourages parent volunteers to focus on individual technique. Teams have the option to hold a practice session each week. Games are played on Saturday (with potential for Sunday matches) in a 4v4 format. In the spring, the World Cup Event begins the season at Justin Lane. The World Cup Event is a series of mini-games.  As part of the registration fee, all participants can attend one developmental training session each week, in addition to their regular team training session.

U9 & U10 Recreational Soccer 
The U9 & U10 age groups expand to 6v6 format introducing goalkeepers, referees, and more complex tactical play. These teams attend a practice session one or two times per week and a game each Saturday (with potential for Sunday matches). Developmental training is optional and would cost an additional $35. As part of the registration fee, all participants can attend one developmental training session each week, in addition to their regular team training session.

 

U11 & U12 Recreational Soccer

These teams play an 8v8 format in a league that includes our LSC Partners. Home games are played at Justin Lane, but away games may be played in Westlake, Milburn Park as well as our South Austin fields - Slaughter Creek or Westcreek.

 

U13-U19 Recreational Soccer 
All teams play in the local association league (CAYSA) during the fall and spring seasons. These teams compete in large-field, 11v11 and there is one to two practices per week. The home games are played at Williamson County Regional Park (WCRP). In the fall these teams will play from mid-September to mid-November. In the spring: U13-U14 will play end of February to end of April and U15-U19 teams play a shortened schedule due to High School soccer overlapping the club soccer season (games will begin after spring break).

 

Please note, the number of player registrations will determine the combination of age groups

 

Developmental Training

 

The Lonestar Developmental Training program is a five week program for ages U5-U10 and will include one hour lessons conducted in a healthy, fun and safe environment led by professional Lonestar SC Coaches. LSC Development Training will focus on the basic fundamentals of the game taught through a weekly theme. Fall Developmental Training begins in October, spring Developmental Training begins in March. Click here for more details!

 

Fundraiser

 

Every fall there is a fundraiser to help offset the cost of field rental, nets, goals, water, maintenance and financial aid. Every registered family is expected to participate in the fundraiser unless they opt for the fundraiser buyout of $35 (this is an option during registration.
