Championship Day Update :: Schedule for Monday, Sept. 5th

Due to the game delays today at Northeast Metro Park (NEMP) as a result of the Wild Fire Evacuations, we have had to make a few schedule changes. Games originally scheduled to be played at NEMP tomorrow, Monday, Sept. 5th, will continue however please review these changes by visiting the links below.  Lonestar has tried to accommodate everyone due to these outstanding circumstances.  Lonestar would like to extend their thoughts and prayers to all of the families affected by the fires and thank everyone for their cooperation and patience.

We ask that if you have signed up to volunteer at either championship location tomorrow, that you are able to make your time slot despite changes. 

Your time and help is very much appreciated.

 

Games scheduled at Old Settlers Park, Monday, Sept. 5th will remain the same.  There are no schedule changes for these games.

• Have a player in some form of soccer dress (game jersey, warm up top etc) and tell them you are at the Lonestar SC ALDC Tournament and want to get the Austin All Access discount.

This tournament represents an excellent opportunity for U11-U19 boys and girls teams to prepare for their various fall competitions. As a "tune-up" for the fall season and the new soccer year, this will be your chance to evaluate new players and teams against stiff competition. We invite teams of all competitive levels to participate and we will make every attempt to fill each competitive level to ensure that everyone is challenged.

We are offering both 8v8 and 11v11 for the U12 age division only. U11's will play 8v8 only.

 

We are asking for all teams registering to identify their current playing level. Teams will be placed into the flights of competition by the tournament competition committee. Please provide sufficient information in the "Team History" section of the online registration system to allow the correct placement.

 

There will be as many as 4 levels or flights with the following names in this order -Premier, Gold, Silver and Bronze.

 

Awards are presented to Champions and Finalist in each flight. All teams will play "round robin" within each bracket with advancement games except for groups with less than 6 teams. Those groups will have awards presented based on round robin results.

The following information is to assist you with travel plans and hotel arrangements:

• The first kick-offs will be will begin Saturday and Sunday, 7:30 am.
  
• Championships will kick off at 8 am on Monday.
  
• All teams will play 2 games saturday and 1 game Sunday.
  
• Semi-final games will be played Sunday afternoon.
