2012 Important Event Information
This tournament represents an excellent opportunity for U11-U19 boys and girls teams to prepare for their various fall competitions. As a "tune-up" for the fall season and the new soccer year, this will be your chance to evaluate new players and teams against stiff competition. We invite teams of all competitive levels to participate and we will make every attempt to fill each competitive level to ensure that everyone is challenged.
We are offering both 8v8 and 11v11 for the U12 age division only. U11's will play 8v8 only.
We are asking for all teams registering to identify their current playing level. Teams will be placed into the flights of competition by the tournament competition committee. Please provide sufficient information in the "Team History" section of the online registration system to allow the correct placement.
There will be as many as 4 levels or flights with the following names in this order -Premier, Gold, Silver and Bronze.
Awards are presented to Champions and Finalist in each flight. All teams will play "round robin" within each bracket with advancement games except for groups with less than 6 teams. Those groups will have awards presented based on round robin results.
The following information is to assist you with travel plans and hotel arrangements:
- The first kick-offs will be will begin Saturday and Sunday, 7:30 am.
- Championships will kick off at 8 am on Monday.
- All teams will play 2 games saturday and 1 game Sunday.
- Semi-final games will be played Sunday afternoon.
ALL Championship games will be played on Monday, September 3, 2012
All 8v8 Championships will be played at Old Settlers Park (OSP)
All 11v11 Championships will be at North East Metro Park (NEMP)
