Lonestar Soccer Club Completes Acquisition Of 22-Acre Parcel On Gregg Manor Road For Future Soccer Complex
AUSTIN, TX - On Tuesday, March 22, 2016, Lonestar Soccer Club, the leader in full-service youth soccer operations in Central Texas, completed the acquisition of land in the northwest quadrant of the TX-130 and HWY 290 interchange.
“What a great day for Lonestar,” said Buck Baccus, Lonestar Soccer Club president. “The acquisition of 22 acres will fuel our next evolution and propel us towards our simple goal – to be the best youth soccer organization in the United States. I invite each and every player and their family to join us in a collaborative effort to build a truly first class facility. We are Lonestar!”
Lonestar’s mission to provide players the best opportunity to succeed at the next level has now become a reality. Baccus added, “To do so, we need a ‘brick and mortar’ home; a tangible place from which to better serve our players and their families.” The 22-acres will be the new home to numerous playing fields for trainings and games. There will also be construction to relocate the staff into a new office building.
“Numerous factors attracted LSC to this property, “ added Allen Fincher, Executive Director of Business. “Location, accessibility, and the ability to serve a population that does not inhabit our current footprint are a few key elements. Being able to expand our level of service to more families in the Greater Austin-area is important.”
